Good Looks, Good Health is a series of community and public health awareness events coordinated and run by the Connecticut Nurses’ Foundation, sponsored by regional hospitals, corporations and foundations. Good Looks, Good Health strives to improve the health and the lives of the citizens of the state of Connecticut by bringing resource and knowledge into an environment of fun and entertainment through our biannual events.
In 2011 the Connecticut Nurses’ Foundation presented Good Looks, Good Health: A Teen Health Expo, a day-long event in Stamford, CT aimed at promoting safe cosmetics, fitness and healthy lifestyles in a population of Connecticut citizens at risk.
On November 17, 2013 the Connecticut Nurses’ Foundation will host Good Looks, Good Health: Diabetes is a Family Affair. This half-day program is designed to educate families about the total spectrum of diabetes management to minimize the impact of disease on the citizens, our families and our communities throughout Connecticut. We hope you will join us.
